Overview
Under the rules that apps can be submitted in more than one category, I am submitting this open data resource to the enterprise section on two points...
1) quite a number of the entries in this database are work and jobs related agencies
2) the software I have developed is very easily scalable to function for other similar datasets
In my initial submission this app was under review by apple but it is now released i iTunes as well as android.
The app itself is a databes resourse of the dataset of disability services available on the fingal.ie website. There are category and text based search functions and in the results phone numbers can be pressed to make a direct call and likewise with enails and urls.

Castle Master is a joyful way of gaining knowledge about heritage and ancient castles in Fingal County. It adopts an informal learning approach by delivering the information through a mobile game. The challenges incorporated in the game aims to motivate learning through correctly answering questions that reflect the richness of these historical monuments and incentivise players to visit the castles. The gameplay involves arcade and multimedia attractions.

This was an app I had envisaged would help drivers with accessability difficulties plan their route in the greater Dublin area. It was devloped using phonegap which enables simultaneous deployment in multiple platforms.

The idea behind the explorefingal app was to build a game that would encourage people to visit local places of interest. When starting a new game the player selects the categories they are interested in visiting.

It is common for families to take a day trip on the weekend to local attractions such as beaches, parks, castles and other amenities. This can, however, be a stressful time for the parents, due to having to organise the children, lunches, equipment, etc. A further headache is having to organise driving directions for the day, especially if the trip is to a new location.
